Corporate Governance

Principled by
design.

CIVITERA operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, defense, and national sovereignty. That position carries responsibility. Our governance framework defines the principles, AI commitments, and policies under which the estate is built and licensed.

Mission & Vision

Why CIVITERA exists.

Mission

To invent, protect, and license the foundational intellectual-property layers that sovereign artificial intelligence will require, enabling governments, defense organizations, and enterprises to deploy trustworthy autonomous systems.

Vision

A world in which the critical infrastructure of artificial intelligence is governed, auditable, and sovereign by design, with foundational claims licensed openly to the institutions building the autonomous century.

Responsible AI Principles

How we build.

Human Authority

CIVITERA technology is designed so that human authority over autonomous systems is preserved, auditable, and never structurally removed.

Accountability by Design

Governance, attribution, and evidentiary capabilities are engineered into the architecture, not added afterward.

Sovereign Control

Our IP is built so that nations and institutions retain control over the AI systems operating within their jurisdiction.

Transparency

Filings are publicly acknowledged at the USPTO; the estate is verifiable; disclosure boundaries are clearly stated.

Policies

The commitments we operate under.

Responsible AI

CIVITERA develops governance and oversight IP intended to make autonomous systems safer, more accountable, and more controllable. We do not pursue IP whose primary purpose is to remove human oversight.

Defensive-Use Orientation

Our defense-related filings are oriented toward protection, detection, accountability, and authorized response, engineered for lawful operators under appropriate authority.

Export Compliance

Defense-adjacent and dual-use intellectual property is managed with export-control awareness. Foreign engagement is reviewed against applicable EAR/ITAR considerations prior to disclosure or licensing.

Human Rights

CIVITERA conducts its IP-licensing activity consistent with respect for fundamental human rights, and evaluates counterparties and use-contexts accordingly.

Controlled Disclosure

Technical detail is disclosed in tiers: public abstracts on this site; deeper detail to qualified counterparties under executed NDA; full specifications only within licensing relationships.

These statements describe CIVITERA's governance orientation as a private intellectual-property company and do not constitute legal advice or binding contractual terms. Specific licensing terms are governed by executed agreements.
